The Glebe field - update

We were really pleased to share the latest ideas about the use of the Meole Brace Glebe field in our Advent Sunday service on 1st December. This follows a period of community consultation earlier in the year, and ongoing conversations with our local councillor, Town Council and County council representatives. The plan involves doing work on both the Glebe field and access to the Trinity Centre, and seeks to open up the frontage of these beautiful buildings. We are being guided by principles of ecological sustainability and community access, as well as our responsibility to ensure that there is safe and proper access to the whole site. We're looking for a choir of angels!

We have our ever popular Carols by Candlelight coming up on Sunday 15th December at 4.30 & 7pm. As always we can’t do it alone! If you can sing we would love for you to join our choir of angels who each year deliver a fantastic medley of carols and Christmas songs. Conducted by Elly one of our worship leaders at 1045 those attending the services will be in for a real treat. Shropshire Churches Conference - "Everyday Faith"

Thank you so much to those who attended the 2019 Shropshire Churches conference at Meole Brace. It was great for churches from Hereford and Lichfield Dioceses to spend the day together exploring whole-life discipleship. Prayer spaces in school

I hope you had chance to look at the Triptych, Loving, Hurting, Dreaming that was in church in October. We were lucky enough to be able to set it up and use it in Meole Brace Primary School over our three day Prayer Space. Each class came in for an hour and we looked at and talked about the pictures followed by an activity to help us think through what they might mean. In the loving activity we had circles of scratch art paper and the children drew circles to imitate the rings on a tree trunk. As the colours shone through, they thought about all the different sorts of love there are including God’s unconditional love for them. The hurting tree gave an opportunity to talk about how......

Join in with our week of prayer from Sunday 3rd to Sunday 10th November to help us focus on our engagement with God. Starting with our Sunday services on 3rd, we want you to pause; to listen to what God may be saying; to engage with what happens across Trinity Churches; and to share that with everyone else. Exploring what Faith, Hope and Love means in our daily discipleship, we want to give you an opportunity to be still. The Garden Room in the Trinity Centre will be available during ‘office hours’ as a prayer space, to do your pausing, listening and engaging with God. Join us and join in. You would be very welcome. New Autumn Prayer Resource

We are pleased to announce that we’re launching a new prayer resource for autumn. For the months October to December there will be daily Bible readings as well as some key themes to help guide your prayers through the week.
