Christmas party for refugees – trip to Germany

For many people going to Germany pre-Christmas must mean just one thing… Christmas markets. But for Mike and Julie Kim, and a few others, they’ll be heading to Germany on 19th December for a very different reason.
Mike – our new mission partner for CTK – will be heading to a town near Dusseldorf, in the west of Germany. Working with a team of people from Shrewsbury and elsewhere, they will be working with their local partner ‘on the ground’ in organising a Christmas party for many of the refugees locally. By loving, serving and sharing with those locally, they seek to be sharing something of the good news of Christmas – and the love of Jesus Christ – with those refugees locally.

(1) Would you please pray for them, and others going out as part of the team?
(2) Would you consider going with them? They leave on Sunday 19th December, and will return to Shrewsbury on Wednesday 23rd
(3) As part of the Christmas party they will be buying some specific Christmas gifts when in Germany. Would you consider donating to help support their work?
