Supporting God’s work in the UK and further afield
Neville Willerton works for Church Army as Director of Mission Operations. He oversees their frontline work including a growing number of centres for mission, creative expressions of church life, and homelessness hostels in Cardiff and London. More recently he has also been involved with “Waterways chaplaincy” which brings practical and spiritual support to people living on the waterways.
M and H work in remote villages in a country where conversion to Christianity is criminalised and it is hard for people to show openly that they are Christians. The family seeks to serve their local community, showing God’s love in practical ways and offering to pray for those in need.
Since 2014 Jon, Elise, Elliott, Sammy and Bow have been living and working with Urban Neighbours of Hope in Bangkok, making their home in a crowded slum neighbourhood and experiencing the joys and sorrows of community life up close. For this their tenth year with UNOH they will be based back in Shrewsbury to fundraise and reconnect with supporters, to get training and further support, and to discern the nature of their next season in Thailand.
ReSource’s vision is to see churches across the UK alive in the spirit and active in mission. From leadership development to retreats, producing resources through to networks of prayer, their particular gift and calling is enabling little, local and ordinary churches to engage with the Holy Spirit for renewal, discipleship and mission.
