Summer 2014.…an opportunity to meet new people, spend time with old friends and enjoy ‘being church’!Fun in the Sun

Come and join us for one, two or all of the events that we are organising over the summer. As people are away on holidays etc., it can be easy to lose touch with each other and what God is doing amongst us. The autumn will be a busy one in Trinity Churches so join us as we relax this summer All are welcome, and invite your friends!

Shrewsbury Parkrun 9.00am Sat. 19 July

For current Parkrunners or those who have never quite got round to joining the phenomenon that is Parkrun UK, now is your chance. We will register you if needed (which must be done by Friday 18th ), meet you and run / jog with you—no expertise necessary. Meeting 8.50am at The St Chads Quarry Gates, Shrewsbury

Vicarage Pudding party 6.00—8.30pm, 26 July

Back by popular demand! The idea is, you bring a pudding to the Vicarage, then you eat several other puddings, with maybe a few games on the field to assuage any calorie related guilt.

Escape to the country 2.00—5.00pm Sun. 10 Aug).

For afternoon tea…. You are welcome to Stapleton Manor Barn SY5 7EF for a relaxed afternoon of eating, drinking and chatting in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.

Messing about by the river from 2.30pm Sat. 16 Aug.

Join us for an afternoon of messing about by the river at Stockton Mill, Marton SY21 8JL. Croquet, table tennis, badminton, pooh sticks, paddling, dog walking or just enjoying a summer’s afternoon, followed by a bring and share BBQ. Everybody (including dogs), welcome.

Bell Ringing Summer School 5.30—7.00pm, 18—22 Aug.

If you have ever fancied having a go at pealing, ringing or chiming, this may be your chance. A free, week long course at Holy Trinity, particularly aimed at younger ringers (going into school year 6 and above) but open to all.

CardingMill Chill from 11.30am, Mon. 25 Aug.

Come to CardingMill Valley, Church Stretton (top car park) to enjoy a day of playing in the stream, picnics and gentle strolls. Dogs, families, wheelchairs, pushchairs, all welcome. Bring some food and a folding chair / rug and prepare to enjoy the Bank Holiday sunshine. .
