REVS – what a great day

We’ll find ways the next few weeks of showing off some photos and some stories of a great event a couple of weeks ago. A huge thankyou to Adam Gompertz and the planning team… and a big thank you from them to everyone else involved.

Adam Gompertz, one of the organising team, writes:

REVS is about cars, but more than that, it is about people, and we do hope that this message came across. We are grateful to all of you for being such a big part of our day.

People were so impressed with the passion you all had for your cars, the way you presented them, and the sheer variety of cars we had on display.

Such an event takes a lot of planning and so I am sure you will allow me to pass on your thanks to the whole planning team, some who were quietly working very hard behind the scenes to make it all happen, and especially to Revd Phil Cansdale, Vicar of Holy Trinity, Meole Brace, for his enthusiasm for hosting the event. The venue proved such a good site.

We would be very grateful if you could let us know what you enjoyed about the event, what we might have done better. Just drop us an email, and please be as honest as you like, this will help us to think about the planning should there be another such REVS event in the future.

Of course, we would love to see you at the Sunday Service Station – at the Montford Bridge Cafe on the A5 Between Shrewsbury and Oswestry – our next meeting there is on July 16th from 9am till 12 noon.

Finally, as REVS and Holy Trinity is a community of the Christian faith can we say that we wish you all God’s peace and joy.

See you next year?!
