‘Sharing your faith’ Course to return by popular demand

Due to popular demand our ‘Sharing your faith course will be running again!

Starting on Wednesday 03 September from19:30 until 21:30 this we will run for five consecutive weeks in the Trinity Centre.

The course is designed to help individuals to recognise the barriers that may have held them back from having a conversation about their personal relationship with Christ and equipping them to step over them.

Feedback from previous courses shows that those participating have found ‘a new impetus to share their faith’; with a regained or ‘new level of self confidence’ and they have now found the courage to step out and not only talk about their faith at a new level but also to invite friends, neighbours and complete strangers alike along to existing church events.

The course is based upon a book written by J. John who reminds us that national statistics show that 77% of existing church members are attending church because they have been invited. So as part of the course we look at how to come to ask that very question, would you like to come to ……….?
You would be surprised how many times that the response is ‘I’ve been waiting for you to ask me to come, yes!’

One course participant has found a renewed trusting in God and was totally astonished when family members said ‘yes’ when asked if they would like to join the Alpha course.

We are told to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind”; and, “Love your neighbour as yourself.’ Luke 10:27
And although we are not all called to be evangelists, we all do have a responsibility to tell others of our hope in Christ Jesus.
