Take a seat in the Memorial Garden and sit quietly.
Notice what is there, at a distance and close at hand.
Notice the colours, shapes, patterns, textures.
Look at the contrasts and see how things relate to each other.

Read a Bible verse…
‘Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
They will run and not grow weary,
They will walk and not be faints.’
Isaiah 40:31

Listen and Reflect
Be still, for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One, is here;
Come bow before him now with reverence and fear:
In him no sin is found – we stand on holy ground.
Be still, for the presence of the Lord, the Holy One, is here.
Be still, for the glory of the Lord is shining all around;
He burns with holy fire, with splendour he is crowned:
How awesome is the sight – our radiant King of light!
Be still, for the glory of the Lord is shining all around.
Be still, for the power of the Lord is moving in this place;
He comes to cleanse and heal, to minister his grace –
No work too hard for him. In faith receive from him.
Be still, for the power of the Lord is moving in this place.

There are four other reflections for you to take part in around the Churchyard. Can you find the others? We’d love to invite you to take part in some of the other ways in which we are doing and being church online at the moment. Check out our Facebook page to see our weekly Pyjama Church for families, Sunday 1030am gatherings and daily Six o’clock Live reflections.
