#StopFoodWaste at Festive #Foodshares!

Shrewsbury Food Hub, a local charity, redistributes local surplus food from supermarkets.
We’re gearing up for another busy festive season. Last year we rescued 450 trays of veg in just 3 days – a massive 7 tonnes in the Festive fortnight. A true community team effort – from supermarket staff (organising food for collection), our committed volunteers giving up precious family time to collect and distribute food, and our fantastic foodshare table hosts providing an outlet for the community.
Come down to one of our Foodshares and help us get all this good food eaten up, and spread the word! The timetable is on our website here
Please follow our Christmas story on Facebook here.
Foodshares aim to stop food waste, so the food is very random. More robust community support can be found on the Shropshire Larder Website
