Fi Iddon
Associate Vicar and Interim Priest in Charge
She lives in Meole Brace with her husband Simon, who works at Meole Brace Secondary School, and they have two children – Rebekah and Josiah. Fi delights to see people of all ages discovering more about the ways in which Jesus has called them to live for him in their every day lives. When she isn’t working, Fi loves family time, being in the Shropshire hills or drinking tea with friends.

Ian Budd
Curate
Originally from Nottingham, Ian is married to Kate and they have one son, James. Following ordination training, Ian is delighted to be in Shrewsbury for his curacy with the Trinity Churches. He is looking forward to getting to know new people and walking alongside them. A stroke survivor, Ian’s hobbies include parkrunning, hillwalking, and adventures with Rosie and Bluebell (the family’s dog and cat).

Charles Ruxton
Associate Minister
Sometimes seen as old and wise, he is actually rather childish (ask his wife, Sylvia). He is known to spend time wondering how it might be possible to pray, as well as actually praying. He earns his living by running a successful small business in pollution testing and cleanup and spends spare time with family, whistling folk tunes, hill-walking and going sailing.

Cerys Hughes
Children and Families Minister
Originally from North Wales, Cerys now lives in Telford with her three children, a dog and a tortoise! Cerys enjoys exploring new and creative ways to be church together and is passionate about making church accessible and engaging for people of all ages. In her spare time Cerys enjoys road trips (particularly to the sea!), charity shops, and good quality tea and cake with family and friends.

Rachel Cama
Preschool Worker
Full-time mum to her son, Caleb. Her husband, Alex, is training for ordination in the Church of England. Rachel has previously worked in drug and alcohol rehab, co-leading a Christian community house for ex-offenders in Shrewsbury; and studying Pioneer Mission Leadership Training. She loves spending time with family and friends, walking the dog, cooking and tea!

Judith Clarkson
Lay Chaplain at Meole Brace Primary School
Judith and husband Steve have lived in Shrewsbury for over 20 years. They have 3 grown up children who live far and wide. She was our Children’s Worker for twelve years and now is enjoying retirement, while volunteering as Chaplain. She enjoys countryside walks, playing music, or visiting family and friends She can be found in bandstands during the summer either playing the clarinet or wielding the baton trying to keep order.

Keith Moore
Pioneer Community Minister
Originally from the Isle of Man, he settled in Shrewsbury after working with Youth With A Mission for 10 years. He has a passion for talking to people about Jesus, teaching the Bible and discussing the big questions of life. He enjoys watching superhero movies, reading detective stories, and is hoping to write a book. He is even hopeful that when its finished someone might read it!

Amal Moore
Pioneer Community Minister
She comes from the land of the Pharaohs, the Great Pyramid, and home of the longest river in the world. She has a heart for discipleship and reaching out to people from different backgrounds, groups, and cultures within the community. She enjoys hospitality and entertaining, and is a big fan of Liverpool FC and loves her cat, Cookie Dough.

Kevin Pilsbury
Operations Manager
Kevin is responsible for the smooth running of the ‘engine’ of the Trinity Churches ‘ship’ in close collaboration with and under the guidance of the Vicar, Church Wardens, Treasurer and of course the PCC. This includes financial, personnel, property, contractual, insurance and policy issues plus a wide variety of other things that form the life of the ‘engine-room’ of this vibrant and busy Church.

Jenny Jones
Finance Officer
Jenny has worked in Finance for many years, previously with Shropshire Council and Shropshire Youth Association. She is a local “girl” having lived in Shrewsbury most of her life, and attended the Priory School. She is married to Brian and they have a grown up daughter named Claire. She enjoys walking in the Shropshire Countryside, spending time with family & friends, and helping others.

Helen Hinton
Events Manager
Helen grew up in Lincolnshire and moved around the Midlands before marrying husband Mike, and settling in Shrewsbury in 1988. She has been a member of Holy Trinity since 1994 and began working at the Trinity Centre as a volunteer Welcome Assistant when it opened in 2008. She enjoys woolcraft, music and spending time with her family and her three cats.

Shannon Commins
Office Administrator and DBS Verifier
She has lived in Shrewsbury and been a member of Holy Trinity since her birth in 1995 with her mother Helen (Events Manager). She has played a number of roles within the church including leading children’s groups, participating in worship leading, working as Welcome Assistant and volunteering within the church office. She enjoys family time, playing games and riding horses.

Jenny Surl
Parish Warden
Originally from Sussex, and a retired teacher, Jenny and husband Rob have lived in Shrewsbury for the past 35 years. They have two grown up children and three grandchildren, who keep them on their toes! She loves being part of the worshipping and serving community of the church and in her spare time loves a trip to the theatre, cooking for family and friends, or a walk in the Shropshire countryside.

Born in Yorkshire Anne came to Shrewsbury in 1991 to work as a teacher at Condover Hall School. She loves serving and being part of the church family and now retired she fills her time playing tennis, line dancing , meeting up with friends and family and working as a volunteer for the League of Friends.

Kelly Ashton-Pallatina
Verger
Originally from North Wales, she moved to Meole Brace at the age of 10. She attended Meole Brace primary and secondary schools and has 5 children. For 12 years she worked as classroom assistant and lunchtime supervisor and more recently as a Welcome Assistant here. She enjoys countryside walks, trips to the beach, visiting statetly homes, and camping with family.

Kevin Roberts
Wider Team
Kevin Roberts is a former Vicar of Meole Brace and is delighted to be back in Shrewsbury in retirement, along with his wife Anne. Kevin went from Meole to be the Archdeacon of Carlisle, followed by six years as Director of ReSource. He keeps busy in retirement with his children and grandchildren, as Chair of SOMA UK and wherever God opens doors!

Robert Parsons
Wider Team
Robert Parsons was ordained in Sheffield and served there and Derbyshire before coming to Shropshire in 2009. His ‘home’ Church is Christ the King but he goes regularly to St Chad’s for Choral Evensong. He enjoys making music with piano and flute. His wife, Liz, has Parkinson’s and is now resident at Radbrook Nursing Home, where they enjoy daily time together.

Neville Willerton
Wider Team
He is the Director of Operations for Church Army, an Anglican mission agency working on the margins of society. His role is helping to oversee, support and grow the frontline work for the charity. He has been part of life here since 2005 when he was part of the staff team. Neville is married to Isabel, and they have a grown up son and daughter. He loves running especially at the Shrewsbury Park Run.

Nick Webb

Nick Webb is a Distinctive (i.e. permanent) Deacon, ordained in Church in Wales in 2019 after retirement from an international management consultancy role. He and wife Jan lived in Anglesey for 10 years before moving to Shrewsbury, nearer grandchildren. He loves working with Shrewsbury Street Pastors and Trinity Churches. His enjoys stamp-collecting, family history, and trying to get to the gym.
