It has been just over 4 years since a wonderful group of young people did Alpha in 2021. These young adults were so hungry to know more about God and were not afraid to ask hard questions. They were very open and receptive to God and formed beautiful friendships over the weeks. Keen to go deeper, a few of them approached us to ask if we would continue helping them to understand the Bible and walk with them on this journey of faith - and it has brought such a joy to our hearts. The group loved our cat, Cookie Dough, so much, that jokingly we named the group after her - but the name stuck and they've been known as Cookie Dough Crew or CDC ever since.

In the last couple of years, we have seen an increase in young adults attending the church and felt God wanted us to start another young adult group as we were reaching full capacity at CDC. After praying about it, some of the original group members have started to run a second group with the support of Keith. The new group (currently called 'As Yet Unnamed' - suggestions on a postcard please!) has been meeting since September and is going strong, to the degree that in a few more months, we may need to start a third young adult group! In total we are 32 in both groups. From the 5th to the 8th of March we are taking some of them on a retreat in North Wales, and in April we are planning a day retreat for those who can't make the weekend. We truly give thanks to God for these wonderful groups and ask that you please do join us in praying for the retreats to be full of God's presence, deep fellowship, and good fun.

Lent 2026 (Presentation).jpg

This Lent we are continuing our commitment to go deeper in corporate prayer with a different opportunity for prayer each week. These take place at different times and are led by different people, and so there is something for all ages and stages of faith.
