In the weekly email a couple of weeks ago you may have read about one of our mission partners, the Bible Society. And no doubt over the last year you will have heard about the Bible Society report called 'The Quiet Revival' exploring the increase in interest in Christianity amongst the younger generation. You may have also heard recently that Yougov, who provided the data on behalf of The Bible Society have admitted to failings in their process, which now means that the data cannot be considered reliable. The media has had a field day with this, declaring that Christianity is on the decline after all and the Church is on it's last legs. Panic not, dear reader! The reason that 'The Quiet Revival' report resonated with so many, was not that it was wishful thinking, but because it supported a trend that churches, Trinity Churches among them, have been actually experiencing. We had the joy of seeing 6 people being baptised on Easter Sunday! Five of whom would fit the demographic mentioned in the quiet revival.

Last week the headlines were focused on a sudden and surprising surge in numbers of people attending the Catholic church! There is a lot of discussion and analysis about what is going on. I think I know. The Holy Spirit is at work and Jesus, who came to seek and save the lost, is looking for His lost sheep. Shall we join Him in the search?

This sunday (1).jpg

This Sunday,
12th April, we'll be beginning a sermon series looking at the book of Hebrews in our morning services - while still very much keeping a post Easter celebration theme! Our preacher at 9am and CTK will be Nick Webb, with Fi Iddon speaking at the 11am (please note that this is NOT an All Age Service as Trinity Kids have an exciting guest of their own!) and Peter Madley will be speaking at Holy Trinity, Belle Vue. Alistair Hornal will be speaking at the evening service. Trinity Youth will need to 'check the chat' for details of whether or not we are meeting on Sunday evening.

Electoral Roll

We did a full revision of the electoral roll last year, but for those of you who have joined our church family since then, we would love to invite you to join the Electoral Roll – which is simply a list that says you belong here (and we are glad that you do!) There will be paper forms available in Church on Sunday but the easiest way to join is by clicking the link below...

We are really looking forward to be spending four weeks exploring our Creator in, and through, His Creation. Beginning on Wednesday 22nd April, and spread over different days of the next month, we're so grateful to those people who will be leading us as we seek to deepen our awareness of the goodness of God. Details of each event, including meeting places and wet weather plan, are beginning to appear on the website, so please do check on there for more details.
