"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith." (Hebrews 10:22)
Ian Budd, Curate
This Sunday, 15th March, is Mothering Sunday, and we'll be continuing our sermon series 'Prayers of the Bible' as we reflect on the way that Jesus prays for his friends. Our preacher at 9am and CTK will be Nick Webb, with Fi Iddon speaking at the 11am, and Ian Budd at HTBV. The evening service is a Focus Sunday where Anne Roberts will be sharing before an extended time of Prayer for the Middle East. Trinity Youth will be meeting upstairs in the Trinity Centre at 6.30pm as they continue to study Revelation.
Lent
We have two more opportunities for Corporate prayer during Lent…
This Tuesday sees Creative Prayer in Church for All Ages between 5.30 and 7.30 (under 18s to be accompanied, please), and then our final prayer gathering is Taize prayer on Wednesday 25th at 7pm.
Service of Remembering
Next Sunday afternoon we'll be holding one of our twice yearly services of remembering at 3pm. This is a precious opportunity to gather to remember those who we have loved and who are no longer with us. All are welcome to attend, and if you would like a name of someone to be read out then please contact the office or arrive a few minutes before the service starts. These are always very special services, and are followed by a time of fellowship over refreshments for those who would like to stay for them.
Welcome Lunch
For those who are new - or feeling new - we would love to invite you to join us for a Welcome Lunch as we get to know one another a little better. Alongside members of the ministry team we'll have others from across the congregations helping us to make connections and feel very much at home as part of the Church family here at Trinity. Please do 'let us know that you are coming', we would love you to join us!

Baptism on Easter Sunday
If you are interested in being baptised on Easter Sunday then please do have a word with a member of the Ministry Leaders team, or drop Fi a reply to this email. We would love to begin having this conversation with you!
Who let the Dad's Out?
Don't forget that our new initiative, 'Who Let the Dad's Out' launches after Easter on Saturday April 18th. We are still looking for a few chaps who might be able to support this amazing opportunity. Please do speak to Jason, Cerys or Ian if you would like to know more…
Praying for the Church Family
The Ministry Leaders Team have committed to praying for all members of the church family over the next year at our morning prayer gatherings. This means that you are likely, at some point over the next months, to receive an email or phone call asking you how we can hold you in prayer. All requests will be held confidentially...and this doesn't, of course, stop you asking for prayer at any time at all - we would love to pray for you!
PCC
Please do be praying for PCC who are meeting together on Monday, for the final time before the APCM on May 17th. A reminder that all previous PCC minutes are available on the website (though some confidential items may be redacted).

Saying thank you...
Many of us will know of the amazing work of our Finance Officer Jenny Jones, even if we haven't actually met her! Jenny is heading for a well earned retirement at the end of March. If anyone would like to write a message to her then there are card pages at the back of church... and if you wish to contribute to a gift can do so in cash (so she doesn't see!) via the church office.

And Jenny's departure means that we will be recruiting a new part time Finance Officer. If you, or anyone you know, may be interested in this position then please do have a look. And if you are someone who uses social media then we would be grateful if you would share the advert which will appear later today on facebook.
More details on the Finance Officer role.
